Fashion Week has come and gone. This season, we had the experience to not only sit front row, but to experience the hustle and bustle of backstage. During Fashion Week, M and I were privileged to have our hair styled by the fabulous Redken team. Redken 5th Avenue NYC, the official hair sponsor of World MasterCard Fashion Week, paired up with Maybelline to create one of a kind runway looks. 

Although we are petite, standing at only 5'2, we love big hair. We were thrilled to find out that we would be taking part in the 'How To' video for the TRIARCHY Runway Look. As M's hair was being styled by Jorge Joao, Redken's lead hair stylist, I was snapping shots of the process. We can't wait to share the 'How To' video with you! Toronto Fashion Week - Vawk

We could not wait for Day 3 of Fashion Week, for several reasons! Sunny Fong, Creative Director of Vawk, showed his collection on Wednesday March 14 at World Mastercard Fashion Week. The collection was composed of impeccably tailored pieces which featured leather and fur accents. The show also premiered his sister collection 'Vakkin', which targets the every day woman. It was refreshing to see the 'average' woman wear his pieces down the runway. We had the honour of being guest hosts for Fashion Television's 'In Fashion'. It was an incredible experience and we cannot wait to show you the segment! In the meantime, here are a few of our favourite pieces from Vawk:

Toronto Fashion Week- Lucian Matis

It's that time of year again!  Today marked the first day of World MasterCard Fashion Week, here in Toronto.  Lucian Matis started the night with his show stopping collection hosted in the ballroom at the Royal York Hotel.  Black was the dominating colour for his collection, which added a sultry feel to the show.  Plunging necklines, exposed backs, lace cut outs and exotic feathers were seen on the runway. Here are a few of our favourite pieces:
